Terms and Conditions
These Terms are the agreement between you and us about how you can use PlaywithBuddies. We have tried to keep them readable. Please take a few minutes to go through them, because by using the site you agree to them.

1. Who we are and what these Terms cover
PlaywithBuddies (the "Service") is a website where you can sign in, create or join a room, and play browser games with other people. It is run by Bilal Saeed("we", "us" or "our"). You can reach us at bilalsaeed10b@gmail.com.
These Terms apply to every part of the Service, including the website, the lobbies, chat, the friends list, the inbox and each game. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, our Cookie Policy lists what is stored in your browser, and our Refund Policy explains why nothing can be refunded. All three form part of these Terms.
By accessing or using the Service you confirm that you have read these Terms and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Who can use the Service
You must be at least 13years old to use the Service. If the law where you live sets a higher age at which you can use online services without a parent's consent, you must be at least that age, or have that consent.
If you are under the age of legal adulthood where you live, you may only use the Service with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, and that person accepts these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use of the Service.
You may not use the Service if we have previously removed your access, or if you are barred from doing so under the laws that apply to you.
3. Your account
You sign in using a Google account. We do not see or store your Google password. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure and for everything that happens through your PlaywithBuddies account, including activity in any room you host. If you think someone has got into your account, tell us straight away.
The display name and profile picture you use must not be offensive, misleading or belong to someone else, and must not suggest that you are us or that you speak for us. We may change or remove a name or picture that breaks this rule.
You may stop using the Service at any time. You can delete your account and its data yourself from your profile page, or by emailing us from the address linked to your account. The Privacy Policy explains what is deleted and when.
4. The Service is free
The Service is currently offered free of charge. We do not sell anything through it, we do not show adverts, and we will never ask you for payment card details. The Service may show prices for items that are not yet on sale. Showing a price is not an offer to sell, and nothing can be bought until we say so.
If we ever introduce paid features, we will tell you before they go live, and any purchase will be governed by separate terms that you will be asked to accept at the time. Nothing in these Terms obliges you to pay for anything.
5. Coins, gems, unlocks and badges
The Service lets you earn virtual items by playing, such as coins, gems, cosmetic unlocks and badges ("Virtual Items"). Please read this section carefully, because Virtual Items work differently from things you own in the real world.
- Virtual Items have no monetary value. They are not money, currency, property or a financial instrument, and they cannot be exchanged for money or anything of value, whether with us or anyone else.
- You do not own Virtual Items. We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable licence to use them within the Service while your account is in good standing.
- You may not sell, buy, trade, gift or transfer Virtual Items or accounts, or offer to do so, inside or outside the Service.
- We may change how Virtual Items are earned, what they do, and what they cost within the games. We may also correct balances that result from a bug, an error or a breach of these Terms, and we may reset balances when a game is rebuilt or removed.
- If your account is closed for any reason, any Virtual Items linked to it are lost.
Because Virtual Items are given free of charge and carry no monetary value, we will not compensate you for any change to, or loss of, Virtual Items.
6. How you must behave
We want the Service to be a friendly place to play. When using it, you must not:
- harass, bully, threaten, abuse or intimidate anyone, or post anything hateful, sexually explicit, violent or otherwise unlawful;
- share anyone's personal information without their permission, or try to find out personal information about other players;
- pretend to be another person, another player or us;
- cheat, exploit bugs, use bots or scripts, or alter game data, network traffic, balances or results;
- access or try to access any account, room, data or part of the Service that is not meant for you, including by getting around security rules or rate limits;
- interfere with, overload, disrupt or damage the Service or anyone's use of it, or introduce malware;
- scrape, copy or harvest data from the Service by automated means;
- use the Service for advertising, spam or any commercial purpose without our written permission; or
- use the Service in a way that breaks any law or anyone else's rights, or help anyone else do any of these things.
If you find a security weakness, please report it to us privately rather than testing or using it. We are grateful for responsible reports.
7. What you share on the Service
Your content includes chat messages, your display name, any profile picture you upload, bug reports, screenshots and any other material you submit ("Your Content"). You keep whatever rights you have in Your Content.
So that we can run the Service, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, display and transmit Your Content, for as long as it is held on the Service and only for the purpose of operating, securing, supporting and improving the Service. This licence ends when Your Content is deleted, except for copies we must keep under the law or that are held in routine backups for a limited time.
You confirm that you have the right to share Your Content and that it does not break these Terms or the law. Other players in a room will see what you post there.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely and without any obligation to you.
8. Moderation, suspension and termination
We are not able to watch everything that happens on the Service and we do not promise to. We may, however, review, remove or restrict any content or activity, close rooms, adjust or reset Virtual Items, and suspend or terminate accounts where we reasonably believe that these Terms or the law have been broken, that someone is at risk, or that we need to act to protect the Service or its players.
Where it is reasonable and lawful, we will tell you what we have done and why. If you think we have got it wrong, email us and we will look at it again. We may also withdraw the Service, or any part of it, from everyone at any time.
If you want to report a player or some content, email us with as much detail as you can, including the room code and what happened.
9. Our content and intellectual property
The Service, including its games, code, artwork, sound, music, text, design, names and logos, is owned by us or used with permission, and is protected by copyright, trade mark and other laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to access and use the Service for your own non-commercial enjoyment, in line with these Terms.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, reverse engineer, decompile or create derivative works from any part of the Service, except where the law expressly allows it and you cannot be prevented from doing so.
The games on the Service were created for PlaywithBuddies. Some belong to familiar genres, such as artillery duels, volleyball, platformers and word games, which are open to everyone. PlaywithBuddies is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any other game, studio or publisher, and any names or marks belonging to others remain theirs.
10. Reporting an infringement
We respect other people's rights. If you believe that something on the Service infringes your copyright or other intellectual property, please email us with:
- your name and contact details;
- a description of the work or right you say is being infringed;
- where on the Service the material appears, in enough detail for us to find it;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law; and
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner, or are authorised to act for the owner.
We will review every valid notice promptly and remove or change material where appropriate. We may close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe.
11. Other services
The Service relies on services run by other companies, including Google for sign-in and data storage, GitHub for hosting, and Cloudflare for connecting players in real-time games. Section 7 of the Privacy Policy lists each of them and what they receive. Your use of your Google account is governed by Google's own terms. We are not responsible for services, websites or content that we do not control, including links posted by other players.
12. Availability and changes to the Service
We are always working on the Service. We may add, change, pause or remove games and features, and we may change how the Service works, at any time. We do not promise that the Service, any game or any feature will always be available, uninterrupted or free from errors, or that your progress will be kept.
13. Disclaimer
The Service is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no promises or warranties of any kind about the Service, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of satisfactory quality, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement.
Nothing in these Terms affects any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded or limited by agreement.
14. Limits on our liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law:
- we are not liable for any loss or damage that was not reasonably foreseeable, or that was caused by your breach of these Terms or by events outside our reasonable control;
- we are not liable for any loss of profits, revenue, business, opportunity or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss;
- we are not liable for the loss of Virtual Items, game progress or statistics, or for the conduct or content of other players; and
- our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with the Service or these Terms is limited to fifty United States dollars (US$50).
The Service is provided for private, non-commercial use only. You agree not to use it for any commercial or business purpose.
15. Responsibility for your misuse
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to compensate us for reasonable losses, costs and claims (including reasonable legal fees) that arise because you broke these Terms or the law while using the Service, or because of Your Content. This does not apply to the extent a loss was caused by our own fault.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the Service or the law. We will change the date at the top of this page when we do. If a change is significant, we will give you reasonable notice on the Service before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after the change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept them, you should stop using the Service and may ask us to delete your account.
17. Governing law and disputes
If you have a problem with the Service, please contact us first. Most issues can be sorted out quickly and informally.
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Service, including non-contractual disputes, are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The courts of Pakistan have jurisdiction to settle any such dispute. However, if you are a consumer living outside Pakistan, you will still benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country if its law gives you that right.
18. General
- These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service and replace any earlier agreement on the same subject.
- If a court decides that any part of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, that part will be changed as little as necessary to make it enforceable, and the rest of these Terms will stay in full effect.
- If we do not enforce a right straight away, that does not mean we have given it up.
- You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms to anyone else. We may transfer ours to another person or organisation who takes over the Service, and this will not reduce your rights.
- Nobody other than you and us has any right to enforce these Terms.
- Sections 5, 7, 9, 13, 14, 15, 17 and 18 continue to apply after these Terms end.
19. Contact us
